And I should point out that there were several different CPU's, with dramatically different threshold requirements. So treating them all the same is a big failure in SolarWinds.
This is true! What I had to do is create custom pollers to read in the CPU array, and then construct my alerts to trigger on the correct cpu with the correct alerting thresholds. There is a clean way to see which cpu is which, and some change positions from physical to logical, but the logical presentation is consistent.
