Here's my 'building on the shoulders of giants' take on a NetPath Widget created by KMSigma and updated by fursel and others. The excellent original query was designed for a widget query view, so I've adapted it slightly to work with modern dashboards.
The setup shown here may be reversed for you if you're using NetPath the way it's normally used. I'm using it more for an internal 'user experience' type monitoring, rather than querying an external URL. The NUC's are out at the company sites, and the NetPath's query from the NUC's to the data centre to allow each site to be monitored. It's done this way in leiu of having access to the network hardware, which is controlled 100% by others.
Hopefully still useful to someone!
How to add the dashboard:
- Download the JSON file above and check Import/Export Modern Dashboards for import instructions using swql studio. Also this article from KMSigma shows how to import the JSON using powershell if you prefer.
- Please note, the Import/Export of Modern Dashboard requires Orion 2020.2.5 or higher
