I'd like to see the ability to either comment on Audit entries for service catalog items or some log that we can make entries into to explain changes that were made to a catalog item. The current audit log is painfully ineffective at actually doing any meaningful change auditing, as it doesn't record what was changed on the item aside from a short entry such as "Workflow process has been changed" for any change to the "Process" tab.
It would be incredibly helpful to be able to make a quick comment on either the audit entry itself or in a separate log to explain that the "Workflow process has been changed" entry was to fix a typo or correct some inadequate terminology.
Currently my org requires all sensitive workflows (any with approval required) to go through a formal change process for anything that creates an audit entry thanks to the nondescript "Workflow process has been changed" entries we are currently provided. An alternative would be to give more information on WHAT was changed in the workflow process, but I know that may be the more difficult feature to implement vs allowing for commenting on an audit entry that is less than adequate in terms of description.
