Makes sense to add Teams Chat either as integration setting option and/or as an option for notification settings as opposed to email as the only option- So when approvals or tasks are assigned, a notification can be sent to the assigned user's teams chat via their teams associated email, as a more reliable means for communicating -
Email is outdated and incredibly inefficient for the purpose being as a notification, as they are never seen due to other incoming emails burying before the assignee even looks at their emails.
no one is constantly looking/working in emails anymore, and everyone is on Teams every day for the most part, and frequently throughout each day -Thus, notifications sent to the assignee user's teams chat, then the purpose of notifications would be effective and would improve turn around time for approvals being completed within reasonable time.
Since Teams is offered as an integration for ticketing in service desk, and includes service catalog requests - It makes no sense for limitation in option to further integrate into process workflows and automations between service desk and service catalog.
