Greetings All. Working in a shop with several polling servers covered by HA. Site1_Server1 HA with Site2_Server1, etc. I want to start running the config wizard at regular intervals for maintenance. The current game plan: > fail over to Site2 server, run config wizard on Site1 server > fail back to Site1 server, run config…
Is there any i can fix this? An entire poller is down. We are unable to pinpoint the issue and support has given up on this.
After upgrading from HCO version 2023.4 to 2024.2, even though the installation was successful, an error occurred at 39% in the Configuration Wizard during the plugin configuration: “ERROR ConfigurePluginDatabaseComponents - Configuration step Update OIP database user failed with error: Execution Timeout Expired. The…
This started after upgrading from 2023.2 to 2023.3. There were no issues with 2023.2. Our servers do not have internet connection and therefore we downloaded the files from SolarWinds to perform the installation. When the installation completed and the Configuration monitor finished the following error was displayed:…
Hi, I have a issue. I've migrated my databases (Orion, Log and Flow) to a new server because my databases were on the same server as my SolarWinds server. I launched the Configuration Wizard and I've been to able to connect to the new server, but under Database Account when I use an existing account it appears "The…
Hello, We’ve started an update of our Orion Platform to the latest version: 2024.2.1. However, it’s currently stuck in the configuration wizard with an error: " Some of your modules ( platform connect ) don't support Azure database " Do you have a solution for this type of incident? We’re blocked. Kind regards.
I'm setting up a solarwinds test environment. I tried the install and it was having issues with running. On the first install the database and user was created and the configuration wizard ran. I decided to reconfigure the VM it was running on and try it again. So I unstalled the first attempt and reinstalled it. This time…
Hi, has anyone had the following after upgrading to 2022.4 on APE & AWS? MPE is OK but get the same CW error on 5 x APE and AWS. Have tested port connectivity on from APE to MPE looks OK Thanks
***Edit: Together with support, we identified that the NTA module (which we had installed at some point and then removed) had leftover remnants in our DB. Support provided a clean up query, which after ran, the configuration wizard completes the upgrade without issues. I am leaving this post here in case anyone else ever…
I totally understand the reasons why Solarwinds bundled all the modules together in version 2022.3 but in my opinion it shouldn't be forcing customers to build and support resources that aren't needed for their installations. Having to build and support something you don't need is wasteful, subject to neglect,…
