When I look at the long list of feature requests in THWACK:
https://thwack.solarwinds.com/product-forums/web-help-desk-whd/i/feature-requests
I see a lot of great ideas that have gone unvoted for. Instead, some of the grander more difficult features have been voted on and bubble up to the top which might be more "cool" than truly valuable (they make the product more saleable, but not more useable). I'd like to ask that more people in the forums take the time to read through feature requests and "vote" for those that would really make a difference.
Solar Winds seems to put most of their effort into fixing problems that are made as new releases are created, because the fixes they add in prior releases often break other things. That's truly unfortunate!! But what is more unfortunate, is features like the new "Out of Office" feature being added and having it never be something that got voted on or made its way to the top of a list.
When we aren't actively voting on features, the development teams are absent direction and then create features we didn't ask for.
So...go vote! Find features that actually matter...and VOTE.
