One thing I’ve noticed when diving into the asset module of SWSD. You can print QR/barcodes for “Other Assets” which would be something like a monitor.
The issue is, when you open the App (at least on iPhone) you can only scan QR/Barcodes for Computers but not any other asset type.
To me, if we are going to put linked barcodes on everything. It would make sense for the app to handle this as well.
As the computers portion is automatic, but the one thing we manually have to deal with is assigning other non-networked assets including docking stations.
