Requesting an option to send out an email alert to an address(es) whenever there is an email address added to the Suppression List located in the Org - Account - Email Settings section.
We recently had a brief MS outage which caused emails to bounce when sent to our internal addresses. This outage caused bounces for emails from Service Desk to our agent's addresses and automatically added those addresses to the Suppression List. The outage lasted a total of 15 minutes with all addresses then receiving mail properly afterwards. Without any notification of this addition, Service Desk email notification functionality for agents was impaired for almost 24 hours before we discovered the Suppression List had been modified.
An alert when an address is added the Suppression List would have prevented this workflow interruption, or at least drastically decreased the amount of time that legitimate and working addresses were affected.
Thanks!
