Hello community I think it would be useful to have an option to automatically add elements to intelligent maps based on custom properties. What does this mean? When I define a map as being associated with certain custom properties, when I define the value of a custom property for a node, interface, application volume, or…
To enable migration of custom maps from one SolarWinds instance to another.
Ability to display protocol status (BGP, EIGRP) on maps to identify false positives when links appear up but protocols fail. What are the possibilities of incorporating the routing table entity/information into intelligent maps?
When I first open the World Map, it is greatly zoomed out to the point is shows four full earths. I have to zoon in quite a bit to actually seen anything relevant. I assume this has to do with the screen resolution. Is there a way to set the zoom level so that it is centered on a single globe? Thanks, Joe
In many environments, monitoring devices one by one isn’t enough. What we really need is a business service–level view that shows how applications, middleware, databases, servers, and the underlying network are connected, and how healthy they are as a whole. SolarWinds already provides Orion Maps and PerfStack for…
When using background images on maps the entity text can be very hard to read. Current solution is to add a rectangle behind it but that is timeconsuming especially when there are many entities on maps that see frequent changes. My suggestion is to add the option to set an opaque background for the entity text. On a busy…
It would be great to be able to copy an object I created such as a rectangle. For example I create this object Now I would like to duplicate it but currently that's not an option. I have to recreate it.
Need the ability to change the color and style (dotted, dashed) of the automatic and manual connections. The same goes for the straight and curved lines, we can change their color but not style. This feature is available in Network Atlas and allows us to differentiate between wireless/PTP links vs physical links.
Hey THWACKsters/THWACKians, I don't know if any of you have faced this issue in your environment, but, when importing a Network Atlas map into Intelligent Maps that contains objects with a node linked but some objects that have no node associated/linked, the imported Intelligent Map's structure is broken and the objects…
Hi SolarWinds & THWACKians, I have been working with a great SolarWinds technician on a SolarWinds Case "#01979524 Icons & Structure lost when importing Network Atlas maps into Intelligent Maps" and we have come to the point where the issue faced is requiring a Feature Request. SolarWinds, please strongly consider…
