We are receiving the SNMP Traps from devices to Log Analyser but alerting is not working after some time. As we have High availability enabled, we are doing a failover and alerting is working for some hours again same issue is repeating? Raised vendor case still no solution. Is anyone faced this type of issue earlier?
When the interfaces of the devices I monitor with snmp are shutdown, an alarm is sent. Our customer asked us to include the user information that shut down the interface in this alarm mail. How is this possible in Solarwinds? We want to receive alarms from SNMP, not from traps and syslog, because we find it more dynamic…
Hello team, There was a person who managed SolarWinds at my workplace and they have been let go. The issue is that their user account has several dashboards in production that are used to monitor services. Now that they no longer work at the institution, we want to delete their user account, but first, we want to identify…
Long story short: Meraki only allows you to receive SNMP traps over Internet and the source IP will be from the below ranges * 209.206.48.0/20 * 216.157.128.0/20 * 158.115.128.0/19 That's a problem because Orion drops traps from nodes it's not monitoring and as you can understand, adding like 16k addresses as external…

Hello THWACK Folks - Not sure if this is an issue others are having or not, but thought I'd reach out and see as I feel like I've hit the end of my rope... I've (along with the continued help / expertise of SolarWinds Support) have been banging our heads against the wall for quite some time trying to understand this issue…
