At one of our sites we recently started receiving an error when trying to launch Trap Viewer or Syslog Viewer. Any time one of the applications is launced, the following error is received. The same general error appears for Syslog Viewer as well, except is says "Syslog Viewer has stopped working". We have checked our other…
Hi all, I'm entry level user in SolarWinds and I've been trying to generate a rules using the Trap's details on my trigger conditions. I've been reading the NPM Guide and watching some videos with no luck. Can you help me with that? Any recommended documentation would be appreciated, Thanks SQ

When a node is unmanaged, it not possible to see its traps and syslogs through the viewers. I think it would be great to have the ability decide it we want to see traps and syslog from unmanaged nodes.
I think this is a simple question... In Trap viewer, when setting the trap details pattern, what affect does adding a comma to the pattern do? Is it an "AND" or an "OR" statement? Im thinking I may need to switch from filtering with Trap Details and use Conditions instead.
