I'm an entry level SolarWinds user here.
I've got a question to ask.
I need to listen for SNMP traps, and then forward the trap to another server if the filter matches.
I've created the trap rule, but on the forwarding destination server, it only receives partial of the traps expected.
I need to find out where went wrong.
Now, for SolarWinds side, how do I know if the trap viewer actually did forward the trap out when the trap matched the filter?
Is there any form of logging configured or available in the SolarWinds which I can check against?
I am not allowed to install any tools (eg. Wireshark) in the server, as it's against the company IT policy.
Kindly advise, or suggest anything which can help me determine if SolarWinds is working properly.
