Hello, I am relatively new to the VoIP & Network Quality (VNQM) module. We have some IPSLA settings already defined on some switches. if a devices is licensed, and I only have Read permission SNMP strings defined, should I be able to see the operation in the module or is the module only able to display and track the…
Hello guys, I've been spending some time this week looking around on these forums, Google and the "Help" pages within the Solarwinds software to get an answer to this, but so far I haven't had any luck - so I'll give it a go here. How do I change the default time period of the "VoIP UDP Jitter Operation Details"-page in…
Hi, In April Cisco announced a new IP SLA Video operation as part of the medianet framework. Will Solarwinds impliment this operation in to the IP SLA Manager and if so, where in the road map does it fall in to? Essentially the video operation is similar to the VoIP operation, except that it uses video RTP payloads instead…
It appears IP SLA Manager 3.5.1 stores local system time data was stored in RecordTimeUtc but we would like to know for sure?
I have setup a VoIP UDP Jitter IP SLA operation, using the g729a codec, on each of our remote voice routers using Orion IP SLA Manager. Upon looking at the configuration in the router, I noticed that the number of packets sent for each operation was 100. The IOS default is 1000 packets. I would like to ajust this setting,…
Hi, I'm currently evaluating IP SLA monitor and I have 2 questions that I have been able to find the answer to in the admin guide. What is the significance of licensed nodes versus unlicensed? When I remove operations that were part of a VOIP site the site still remains even if it is effectively empty. How do I remove a…
Hi, on some of the IP SLA graphs we see spikes of zero latency, with corresponding dips in jitter and MOS. On looking at the data in Excel, these are caused by the minimum values being zero. What causes these data points and are they "valid"? Thanks.
How do i resolve this error message? Unhandled exception: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown. As of now, some operations are down and there are no graphs generated (No Data). Please advise.
I recently setup my first IP SLA operation as a TCP Connect between two locations. It configured the router as expected and setup the operations. But, the operation status is down and the status message is "Operation did not occur because no connection (session) exists with the target. " Can anyone tell me why I might be…
In the very same way that Source-Dest Jitter seems like a valuable graphic to present. So does the Source/Dest. Latency and Source/Dest. Packet Loss. However, neither of these are presented in IP SLA Manager. This would be a valuble and important ability to have added or if there is an easy way to pull this out into the…
