I'm looking for a way to automate the creation of a "daily health check" ticket. Basically - open a ticket every weekday and have our daily tasks in it (check backups / services / whatever else).
Had anyone done this / have a best method?

You can create a Task and schedule it to run everyday. By setting the Task Element you can put your "to-do" items.
There isn't a way to do it in the help desk. But if you enabled the ability for tickets to be generated by email, you could have an email scheduled to send off every day to the helpdesk with that info.
