1- Power Bi connector for pulling full scope of account data
2- Data/Web API further defined, allowing data to be connected in Power Bi Desktop via Web URL.
(1) I believe it would be most beneficial to all SW customers using the PBi connector, for it to pull raw data at the individual account level so that any type of data/reporting can be pulled into Power Bi.
For instance, all inclusive account data to be pulled between Service Desk and Service Catalog for full reporting capabilities, such as to name a few:
1- Reports and Dashboards in general.
2- All Tasks
3- Users and Groups
4- Change Management
The Power Bi connector limited to incidents and asset data only, limits reporting analytics capabilities significantly. Anything aside from incidents and assets has to be exported to .CSV, .XML, or .PDF, transformed and loaded manually, such as for my current need of importing tasks records for analyzing regular tasks and approval assignments.
(2)Subsequently, connecting data via web would be a sufficient workaround, but seems to be restricted upon any level of credential/authentication whether attempting to connect with basic credentials, anonymously, or advanced with API token authentication.
