It would be great if there was an ability to upload a form with variables in it, then when a Service Catalog item is used replace those variables with entries from the Service Request, and then be able to export the form (with the values entered, replacing the variables) to a word document or PDF.
For example, our finance team is hesitant to move their "expenditure request" form to SWSD because the information is hard to export for reporting and audits. But if we could have it create a form from the input information they could then export that form and put it wherever they currently store these forms. This would prevent us from needing to print the form, fill it out, sign it, and then scan it back in. Which is what we currently do. It would be even better if it could also integrate digital signature software, like DocuSign, for signatures on the forms or if there was a way to capture or upload a signature for users to use on these forms. (The signatures are the main reason we currently need to print the form.)
I've seen similar functionality for actions in Asset Panda, which we are using for asset management, and thought it would be great to have this functionality for Service Requests.
