I would like Solarwinds service desk to introduce the facility to release tickets to itself on a schedule. I have a number of tasks that I complete on a scheduled basis including monthly system audits that I am currently using my Outlook calendar to manage, as the service desk does not have this feature (at least to my knowledge). I would much prefer the service desk system to have a facility that releases me a ticket on a schedule (say the first Tuesday of every month) that would include the steps / tasks that needed to be completed as part of the audit. This would I'm sure add value to a lot of people who use this facility and allow for a much more complete approach to governance, it would also be ideal for reminding when you review and update the policies that every IT manager is required to do.
Hope you agree that this would be a great addition to the service desk,
