HotFix 3 for Netflow 2.1 addressed the resources not loading issue, but try the attached file here and replace the existing one found in C:\InetPub\SolarWinds\Trafficanalysis\0-2-NetflowTraffic Summary with this one.

Apparently the DB Mgr- only allows an SA account to the able to use the DB manager- however you can use either Windows Authentication or you can use the SQL authentication using an SA password. see this thread...

I meant which version of cisco netflow 5 or 9 packets from the devices? -just in case thats what the devices are ...Note: When using NetFlow version 9 you must configure the template to include all fields utilized by NetFlow version 5. If you want to select all available interfaces for monitoring make sure and check next…

Add this clause tho remove some Nodes from the alert- and see if this helps. Alert when app name = ‘Some Name’ AND status = ‘Not UP’ AND NodeName not = ‘Some Node Name’
-
There are several people monitoring it. Did you have a specific NTA question? Please post in the NTA forum and someone should be able to assist.

the nodes are still empty. is there a way just to take the nodes and copy them to the System manger? The nodes seem to be reflecting the Old Engine ID. Verify which Engine ID the nodes table is reflecting- After hitting Query /Refresh you need to scroll over to the middle to locate this column.

Try installing the Hotfix 6 -This addressed having issues with the Orion poller stopping and starting in Orion 8.1 you need to paste this into any browser ftp://ftp.solarwinds.net/Orion/Hotfixes/Orion8.1Hotfixes.zip

This issue will addressed in 9.1- The workaround is to open the custom property editor and editing a single one which should set them all to the proper default. How come when I opened a ticket, support didn't know what the problem was? Not sure really, I just found out about 10 minutes ago myself.

relatively soon- something like.. weeks not months.

If you truncate the trap varbinds then you should have enough space for a compact to occur. Steps are in this thread -
-
Your best bet would be to open a ticket. Disclose that you have tried the known workarounds for this error to no avail and you might include what is installed on that box (setup). ActiveX is needing a component that cannot be found or is registered incorrectly. forms.netsuite.com/.../externalcasepage.nl

You can run the diagnostics utility and look in the Logfiles folder under swAlert.log.X ......for errors and also check the AlertLog.csv in the DB folder of the diags.results. If you cannot determine the root cause you might consider opening a case and submitting all the Diagnostics for further analysis.

Could you tell me the steps you are doing? also have you ran the Config. wiz since the App Mon. install>? ran a baseline? or used the App Mon. at all?
-
Ian- Backup your DB before truncating- just to be safe.... -- This will delete the data. If its a lot of data, it could take some time. delete from TrapVarbinds from TrapVarbinds a, Traps b where a.TrapId = b.TrapId and b.DateTime < datediff(day, -90, getdate()) This will delete everything older than 90 days-

not our network , theirs- We have Orion watching ours :-) We will need to keep an eye on when they update today's report to verify - status.netsuite.com/status.html

Delete this entire directory--- C:\Inetpub\SolarWinds- and then run the Configuration Wizard.
-
Sorry, I was under the impression that you did upgrade from this post and that your website was still reflecting the old version.
-
There is a known issue using Special Characters-that Hotfix 1 addresses.Could this be your issue?
-
There is a fix for this issue. Did you receive any zip files to replace some dll files in the Cirrus directory with your open ticket? Let me know and I can get them re-sent.
-
You can adjust the TOP 10 page to show as many nodes as you want by clicking on the Edit button but this will only reflect your polling settings. As for adjusting the time period, this can only be done when customizing the time-frame from within each chart for that specific node. You can create a custom SQL report from…

There is a note to that exception error in this post- ..give it a try and see if it helps.

Here is the KB for truncating. http://knowledgebase.solarwinds.com/kb/questions/2181/Managing+trap+data+to+increase+database+free+space

can the default map load? Is this a map you created? possibly the background image is too large to load

Mark - Sorry if this is not the correct channel but I just noticed 9 was out as well and did not see it on my Portal. Went to Thwack to see if it was just me, my number is SW6222. I would appreciate it if you could pdate my account to see it as well. Maintenance is current. Thank you, Scott You should be good to go now.

Are you logged in as local admin with rights to the registry? Once those dll's are re-registered that should work.

Port and Firewall Information Orion communicates with Orion NPM servers through the SolarWinds Orion Information Service protocol over TCP port 17777. Firewalls between Orion and Orion NPM servers must have TCP port 17777 open to both inbound and outbound traffic.…

Re-run the website portion of the configuration wizard, this should help.

You might get more in information if you try to view the website from the local machine. Are there any errors in the Windows Event Log? If you browse to the website from the local box, you should get a more detailed error report. You could try running through the configuration wizard for Orion or if that doesn't resolve…
