Their both supported. There is not any necessary components needed to run 32-bit emulation mode that I'm aware of.

did you enter a root password?
-
I've forwarded your message on. Someone should be contacting you soon.

There are certain basic alerts-such as reboot alerts that don't have a reset action. You will have to manually clear them. Basic alerts will always show as active alerts until the reset status is met. If you need acknowledgment, I recommend you look at the Advanced Alerts

If you would like the nodes to indicate that there is an issue with one of its monitored 'child objects' (such as interfaces, volumes etc), right click on the device, then go to Properties. Check the "Show Child Status Also" checkbox. A red dot will show up on the device graphic / led graphic if there is an issue with one…

Use the Test function in Alert Manager first. If that works then force an actual change and wait for the polling cycles to finish.
-
In the NPM Monitor - Click on View-> New View and then select IP addresses

Have you tried using the poller Load Balancer?
-
If you have not already done so I would open a ticket with support. This may be a bug. forms.netsuite.com/.../externalcasepage.nl
-
Could you provide more details.? What OS? Installing as Local Admin? What is the entire error message?
-
What is the case number? If the issue is test tracked then that issue will require a code change for resolution. This may occur in a future SP. Also feel free to reply to your ticket asking for any updates, if there is any to mention, the rep will notify you.

I would suggest adding the list of issued support tickets by the user to the customer area on Solarwinds web site. The list could contain ticket number, dates, subject, status, assigned department/person (?!) ... and would be visible only to the customer. Best regards. Tomaz Tomaz- We are looking into this functionality.…

I believe what Denny was getting at is there is not a supported or official way to do this. You can of course customize the code to your needs, however be cautious and always make backups of the files before starting. Personally, I would be interested in seeing a screenshot of what you have accomplished.
-
Do you have current case open by chance? If so PM me the number and we can go from there. Somehow the TCP connection keeps closing and it would be interesting to see what the diagnostics can tell us.
-
I'll see what the Product Manager thinks about having a sub-topic for the popular tools-
-
hmmm, well verify the Windows Firewall is disabled to see if that helps and also check the advanced vista firewall configuration via "wf.msc" and open port 69 for TFTP service.

XP is not a supported platform-- see this post: Do have server with 2003 to install Orion on? I guess I better ask if this an eval or fully licensed version? open IIS Manager and stop the default website. Then, start the SolarWinds NetPerfMon website. For the 403.1 Forbidden error I found this-…

Home Page... Under Network Network Summary try to remove the All Nodes resource and that should help out- Do you have a Network Trend chart added to the Home Page or Summary View? These charts are very DB intensive since they need to scan the entire SQL table in order to generate a chart.A suggestion is not to place these…

So, as long as I can gain remote access to the Orion server, I can have the Toolset installed on say, my laptop, rather than having to have them on the server exclusively. This is correct.
-
At this point I would suggest opening a Support ticket.
-
What changes have occurred prior to getting this issue, if any? Has this alert ever worked/tested? Try and use other options like Greater than or Equal to in order to test this. This might be an issue- at least I have seen this previously on a Low Disk Space alert???? possibly.

my guess it's with the tnsnames identifier. http://oraclequirks.blogspot.com/2008/03/ora-12514-tnslistener-does-not.html reference these threads for possible resolution- http://thwack.com & http://thwack.com/search/SearchResults.aspx?q=tnsnames+AND+sectionid%3a21&o=Relevance

you can try these steps too- support.solarwinds.com/.../ProblemDetail.cfm

sorry about that, an Outage Duration report can be found here-

For the community. When evaluating Profiler, 2 Downloads are required. The server installer and then the appropriate agent installers.

to attach a screenshot- Reply -> click the Options tab -> Upload file

SP3 has been released -

One suggestion to try would be to use the port scanner to verify that you do not have more than one app listening on port trap UDP 162-
-
Stop all the services and then go into the DB mgr.and open the Engines table. You can delete the WIN2k3_Orion directly-
-
The DB is still reflecting the old Engine ID would be my guess. Open the Orion Server: click on Start>All Programs>SolarWinds Orion>Advanced Features>Monitor Polling Engines. When the box comes up: Click on Servers>Poller Load Balancing. Then just reassign the nodes to the other poller and you are done.
