As of EOC 2.0, the product does support HA as well as Additional Web Servers.

Dynamic Maps are generated automatically as a static sub-view as of 2018.2. Here are posts from the Orion Maps releases - Orion Platform 2018.2 Improvements - Chapter Two - Intelligent Mapping Orion Platform 2018.4 Improvements - Intelligent Mapping Enhancements ORION PLATFORM 2019.2 - ORION MAPS 2.0

Thanks for adding feedback @"Karthik.A" - This wasn't missed, simply not added yet. Much like above, I would be curious if you can expand on your use cases. Is this more of a basic connector between objects or do you think its more important to be able to draw a line in general, even if it doesn't connect to any endpoints?…
-
acmtix Completely agree!!! I would love to get some more detail on what you would expect as far as "Templates", and would really like more details on what would be the ideal view for you, when you map out the services from an application, to the database, and the infrastructure in between. Any screenshots of what you have…

Check out the latest release! Orion Platform 2019.4 - Orion Maps is Now Available
-
Understood. However, there is a MASSIVE difference between a basic report and a map. In a map, we would need to consider storing much more than what you are assuming. Nodes AND connections that were added or removed over that time frame, the placement of each object on the maps, the status and performance metrics from…

Deltona are you referring to how the legends are currently broken out? And just have more precise options available rather than being limited to 10Gbps and faster?
-
Something that is being worked on. Check out what is in the latest release - ORION PLATFORM 2020.2 RELEASE CANDIDATE - MODERN DASHBOARDS @"tony.johnson" FYI
-
Just for added clarification: 1. Old interface - it's really unpleasant to work with it - What is unpleasant? Is it accessing it from the server? Is it the method of entity selection? Is it placing objects? What changes would make it, more "pleasant" to work with? 2. Icons that I can use as objects and their color legend…

alexch it is great to have you as part of the discussion. Can you provide a bit more on why you feel Network Atlas is the weakest part of SolarWinds? What would make it better for your organization? Besides update the look and feel... It is obviously an older feature that needs to be updated and we are working diligently…
-
@"bobmarley" any specific support cases to reference?
-
@"m10" - can you share the support case number - this may be related to a known issue and has been resolved.
-
Yes jnewell and acmtix - we certainly have plans to ensure we deliver something that addresses issues with alignment of entities/labels and where we can easily understand their coordinates on the canvas.
-
@"robt" Speaking of an upgrade - I got something there for you too. Please be sure to check out this post - ORION PLATFORM - 2020.2 RELEASE CANDIDATE - A GATEWAY TO YOUR FASTEST UPGRADE EVER! myself or my partner in crime @"kbongi" will reach out and see what works with your schedule. We would very much appreciate however…
-
@"bekej" and @"jason_r" - the 2020.2.5 release should have fixed some issues associated to the Orion Map Hyperlinks you mentioned above. Relative URLs should be possible as well. If you have been able to upgrade and test, please confirm whether or not you are still having issues. We apologize for the inconvenience, as…

@"alexfoster" obviously this is for topology connections. Are you looking to have this when hovering in a widget or in view mode? What would you expect to see if there are multiple connections between the two entities?
-
Yep - not going to disagree because its a great idea which is still being debated, but it may be tough. Obviously there would be a lot to pull for a map. What elements were on the map before and not, where were they on the canvas, what connections existed, what were the statuses of each during that time frame etc...…

I would recommend creating a feature request with relevant details. This is good feedback and something we can certainly consider for a future release.
-
@"andy.howard" same two cases?
-
Excellent!! If you are able to, we may want to have you participate in some user sessions around some behavior we feel you might find interesting.
-
@"JaroslawLadyga" - Assuming you are needing a new UI/ Management screen to accomplish this correct? Or was there something else you had in mind?
-
EOC 2.0 now functions based on Orion Core. Therefore it contains its own All Active Alerts View. Similar to what you would see at your remote instances, users within EOC can now perform similar functionality to filter. As mentioned, the filter option for time frame is available. Below I demonstrate by selecting trigger…

mcbridea Thank you for the feedback. This is something that we are absolutely aware of and working to address. You may have seen some mention of this is the Network Performance Monitor WWWO Post.
-
@"extreme-bar" - From what I am hearing - I believe there are two requests. The first one I understand. Be able to hide Metric Pills for Topology Connections. Got it. The second one I am a little less clear on. In the example where you indicate you have a map with a Core device that has 50 interfaces, but you only want 10…

I am not sure I agree with the vaporware comment. Network Atlas itself is likely not going to receive updates, but we have had multiple releases building a new web based framework for mapping in Orion. Orion Platform 2018.2 Improvements - Chapter Two - Intelligent Mapping Orion Platform 2018.4 Improvements - Intelligent…

Please take a look at the latest 2020.2 release for Orion Maps - An Orion Map to Success!
-
@"kpmarcin" - this is currently by design. We do not perform this operation natively which is probably a similar reason as to why you are creating a custom SWQL query in your table example. I might suggest changing the title to this FR to reflect what you are hoping for and perhaps add some additional feedback if you can.…
-
Thank you for sharing. This is certainly a well known request and we are absolutely working on providing this ability in a future release.
-
@"makhales" Interested in a bit more clarity around what you are asking for here. Are you looking for something specific to be added to Group Details pages? If you are just looking for a way to get quick summaries of certain sets of entities, have you looked at or tried using the Status Summary Widget? It may be a simple…

The ability to PAN already exists. If you click the space bar you should see a change in the cursor which allows you to pan the map. Clicking More and then Help will take you to the following doc which provides a list of these controls -…
