Yes - there is a code of conduct here on THWACK and we want it to be an open forum for everyone, that said, there are a few best practices.
Capitalization
As brand ambassadors, we want all of the MVPs to conform to a few standards for capitalization.
- SolarWinds - the "S" and "W" are capitalized
- THWACK - always capitalized
- THWACKsters - members of the community - again THWACK is capitalized.
- THWACKcamp - THWACK in uppercase with "camp" is in lowercase
There will be other examples, but look at the community managers' posts for guidance if you are unsure.
Spam
If you see someone who is advertising or something like that, please report the comment (or thread) as abusive. This is found under the "More" option.
This goes to a moderation queue that is reviewed by the Community Team.
Abuse
Abuse of any kind is not acceptable on THWACK and is a direct violation of our Terms of Service - if you see something, say something. The easiest way is to reach out directly to the Community Managers or report the thread/user as spam/abusive. It will go into the same moderation queue for our review.
