Hello, It would be great if the SolarWinds Platform Agent were also supported for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 16.x.
Hello! We have the agent installed on some machines that we can't talk to through the usual WMI and ICMP routes. Suddenly on the 30/12/2024 all the agents stopped talking back to SolarWinds and we seem unable to work out why. The Agent is running on the server as far as we can tell and the only thing we can see is in the…
It would be great if default for agent monitoring was ICMP instead of Agent for response time. This is real annoying due to large amounts of false down devices we get when it responds normally via ping. All polling method should default to ICMP ping for response time with the option to choose something else.
Hello, After the last Orion upgrade, I have some nodes with two agents assigned to them in manage agents. One has the older agent version assigned to it, with agent unknown in the status column. The other has an updated agent version, the agent status is running, but this agent is not actually monitoring the server - it…
Hi Guys, We recently have been porting from a legacy instance to a new global instance, running the latest version As we've done this, i've noticed the service restart function doesn't appear to work any more (despite the alert being on) Digging into it, it looks like the newer version uses the network service account,…
Hi, we would love to see, that the Linux Agent gets native support for SLES Micro. At the moment it's possible to install the Redhat Agent on our SLES Micro servers. Best regards
I'm trying to monitor the same nodes for two instances of SW, those nodes are linux based and the administrator's instance will monitor them by Agent. I wanna know, if there are an option to monitoring those nodes by two instances with diferent polling methods. Anyone has an idea?, please
Hi, We're deploying some Windows 11 ARM devices, but there doesn't seem to be a native Agent available for ARM yet. The existing v12.x agents mostly work, though I'm unable to press 'Ctrl-Alt-Delete' at any point on the machines I connect to - either at the logon screen, or when at the Windows Desktop. It looks as though…
No option to install plugins from manage agents. Shouldn't need an account with permission to install NetPath probe after adding the service. If the agent is already installed I should be able to add it with the account it already uses? An additional tab next to remote collector for each feature? On this customer they have…
I have several servers that have stopped reporting into the Orion server, resulting in 'Node Down' alerts. The servers are up, and I've uninstalled/reinstalled the agent with no change. I've looked at the various agent logs but don't see anything that tells me what's preventing it from checking in. Can someone point me in…
