Orion Agent Connections

Hello,

After the last Orion upgrade, I have some nodes with two agents assigned to them in manage agents. One has the older agent version assigned to it, with agent unknown in the status column. The other has an updated agent version, the agent status is running, but this agent is not actually monitoring the server - it has the little unassigned icon next to it.

Does anyone know what the issue is here and how to resolve it. I want to remove the unknown, legacy agent and use the new agent.

So, two agent record for the same node?

Do they have different types, Agent vs server initiated? Do they connect to different IP addresses? (if you mark one and click "edit settings")

Hey, thanks for responding.

They are both agent initiated communication and use the same IP address.

I'm wondering if there is something blocking communication in such a way that an agent upgrade was allowed through but then normal connectivity was not.

I would most likely just delete one of the records, the "unknown" probably. The issue might be that Orion will probably try to uninstall the agent then. Resulting in none of the records working. If that happens, delete the other record also and start over, installing the agent again.
