Some secured environment does not allow running PowerShell script as this will create security incident like Government offices and/or air gap environment. I tried doing both options on the lab (PowerShell and SWQL) and it's not a straightforward option for regular users. Hoping SolarWinds will follow the "Simple"…
I just opened a ticket and while connected to My Customer Portal, the Settings > All Settings view loose the format because of the Title of the ticket don't wrap.
Working with a customer, we had to utilize UnDPs to get Juniper CoS information to be monitored and displayed on a dashboard; however, the information we are getting, though in the device itself is at the interface level, doesn't work or display at the interface level in SolarWinds, even though we found the correct MIB for…
Good morning. I recently updated my two networks to 2024.2.1 and for some reason the User Interface on one is completely different even though I have same admin rights on both. The TabMenu Bars are gone and almost all of the Settings (NCM, IPAM, SAM, etc.) are gone as well. I did the upgrade the exact same way on both my…
We are looking for more consistent color's in the widgets that represent similar data. We have specifically noticed this as a problem on the default Interface Summary page for all of our nodes. We at this time are seeing the transmit and receive colors on the charts in the default interface summary as different per chart.…
This is a weird one. I've noticed recently since we updated to v2023.2 that we're seeing Solarwinds GUI errors more frequently. We run the Solarwinds web site on our MPE's and an Additional Web Server. Most users including support staff like me go through the Additional Web Server. While I was looking into why the…
Hello, when someone starts the ARM GUI for the first time they have to enter the server. We have a lot of new people using ARM and switching devices. It would be nice if there were a way how we could pre-fill the Server field. Is there any way to achieve this? I haven't found any documentation on how to do this, but it…
Currently NetPath services only displays the probes monitoring paths in the order they were added. This makes it difficult to find probes by name when you have a lot. There should be a way to sort manually, or at least sort probes alphabetically by default.
The Current Menu Bar edit GUI is cumbersome and difficult to use when there is more then a page height worth of menu items. The click and drag mechanic is painful to get a item from the bottom
My FR in one pic: It's impossible now to update Ignore list with GUI if nodes are already added to NPM. In some cases, you may see them (these "undesirable" nodes) only after discovery import - if you have setup an autodiscovery with autoimport. I had the case and I hate it. I had to remove "undesirable" nodes (>500) from…
