Some secured environment does not allow running PowerShell script as this will create security incident like Government offices and/or air gap environment.
I tried doing both options on the lab (PowerShell and SWQL) and it's not a straightforward option for regular users.
Hoping SolarWinds will follow the "Simple" "Powerful" and "Secure" way of doing things specially for Modern Dashboards.
We would like to request having a IMPORT and EXPORT button available from the web console of HCO under the MANAGE DASHBOARDS page.
This will ensure that the same version of the file will be uploaded and does not need any Notepad++, third party apps or additional PowerShell to be installed on an existing secured system.
To have this option as an out of the box function will ensure and encourage admins to use the Modern Dashboards more frequently instead of putting lot of effort and hours just to figure out things to work out.
There are limits when using the SWQL Studio (probably the number of characters supported). For the PowerShell, not all environment allowed to execute script or add additional PowerShell functionality which will trigger security incidents.
