I propose adding native Git repository integration to the SolarWinds Server & Application Monitor (SAM) module to enable dynamic, version-controlled script execution. This feature would significantly improve maintainability, collaboration, and automation for teams using SAM for custom monitoring. Proposed Functional Design…
Hi THWACK, I am a little confused revisiting the steps of getting Anomaly Based Alerts going in SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted. SW specifies under requirements of the below link that a 'SaaS' eval or active license is required for connecting to a SW SaaS instance via Platform Connect. But it has been previously…
Man, for modern dashboards simple yes/no or up/down returns it sure would be nice to be able to wrap the column header text. More data can be displayed in the same space, and it just looks so much better. Modern dashboards comparison of wrapped text to non-wrapped text
I love using SWQL for modern dashboard, classic dashboard widgets, alerts & reports but i hate having to switch back and forth between SWQL Studio and SolarWinds. So this feature request is to bring SWQL Studio into SolarWinds Platform/ SWOSH. This is kind of do-able when building modern dashboards, so why not bring it in…
Currently SolarWinds manage nodes dashboard has just a single group by at a time. There should be multiple group by options at a time, something like we have in the configuration management dashboard. This will help the users to find the desired devices based on relevant group by, currently we need to create custom reports…
Request to use a certificate thumbprint for scheduled reports when SSL is enabled. Background: We use scheduled reports, but we recently enabled SSL which broke the process. The exporttopdfcmd.exe, which runs the reports, currently uses a file path to the certificate which allows the scheduled reports to work with SSL…
Custom Dashboards can fetch directly from Solarwinds portal like SAM template or Custom poller
I know that deploying OSH into the Oracle cloud isn't officially supported, although I would expect it work if I using VM's with supported OS and Databases, but... I would like OSH to officially support deploying into the Oracle Cloud infrastructure (OCI), giving me guidance on specifics and scaling.
I know that OSH can monitor Oracle cloud via normal means, like SNMP, WMI, Agents, databases, etc. - anything that can be reached remotely like on-prem, but... OSH should monitor Oracle cloud via API like it does Azure, AWS, and GCP - so discovery, VMs. Databases, storage, network, etc.
