On the 17th of March 2026, We did an upgrade of our SolarWinds Platform (Former HCO) to version 2025.4.2. Upon investigation post upgrade we noticed the following software were installed together with the upgrade package:
1. Microsoft ASP.NET Core 8.0.21 - Shared Framework (x64) —8.0.21.25475
2. Microsoft Windows Desktop Runtime - 8.0.21 (x64) —8.0.21.35325
3. psqlODBC —17.00.0005
I do not see this information on the release notes. Is this a known behavior for this version and should i be worried about these softwares
installed?
