I would like to track parts in Service Desk. For instance, USB cables. I'd like to keep track of how many I have in inventory so that I know when to reorder. Could be for anything. HDMI cables, phone headsets, extra hard drives.
It would be nice to have a Total Available line at the top of each Part in the Parts List & Inventory tabs. So that you know how many total you have in the system.

Currently, Tech accounts can have permissions to import all items (Tickets, Clients, Assets, Locations, FAQ's). The only item they cannot import is Parts. There should be an option to allow Technician accounts the ability to import Parts.
I have 'Manage Parts' select in Tech Permissions, but the 'Import Parts' option is still not available. There are other import options (FAQ, Location, etc.), but I see nothing specific to 'Parts' What specific permission is required to import Parts?
I'm unable to add the Storage Location when trying to create a Parts inventory. I have several Location Names built in the Setup area, but when I click on the Location drop-down box there are no available options. Is there somewhere else that I'm supposed to build locations that I'm not aware of?
We need a Report from the 'Parts and Billing' section of the ticket. We specifically asked about parts and billing reports availability when we were looking this system over and told it existed. Our techs are internal and so the costs we need to track are parts costs that are charged back to our "customers."
