I have 'Manage Parts' select in Tech Permissions, but the 'Import Parts' option is still not available.
There are other import options (FAQ, Location, etc.), but I see nothing specific to 'Parts'
What specific permission is required to import Parts?

Good day,
You are very close. Within Setup/Techs/Tech Permissions, there is an option under ASSET Permissions where you should see a checkbox for IMPORT ASSETS.
I recommend having VIEW assets/EDIT assets/CREATE assets selected as well.

Thanks for the reply. These specific Techs already have all Asset-related permissions (except for Delete Asset and Purchase Order Edit). The 'Import Assets' option is available to them under Setup > Data Import. This is working properly for them.
However, they do not have the 'Import Parts' option under Setup > Data Import. They only have 'Import Assets'.
As an Admin, I have 'Import Parts' under Data Import. I can't figure out how to give that permission to Techs without making them Admins. Seems odd to me.

Thanks for clarifying and apologies for delayed reply. After testing on my end and asking around office..it seems your correct. Assigning Admin Rights is the only way to have IMPORT PARTS appear for Techs.
But with that said, depending on your WHD environment, if you have multiple departments and or locations or both, you could assign one tech in each department or location the Admin role. Not ALL techs need to have the ADMIN role assigned.
Just spent about an hour on the phone with Solarwinds support and they confirmed the same; Technicians can have permissions to import everything except for Parts. At this point, only Admins can import Parts.
