Is it possible to create an automation rule that can change the requestor of an incident?
It does not appear so, using the automation rule build form. I wonder if using the API would allow a possible solution.
It is definitely possible with API, but it's not an option in the Automation Rules today. Since it's not native currently, do you mind posting this in the Feature Requests forum?
I'm also curious about the use case for changing the requester. Can you share?
For us:
A lot of automated notifications come from an address that also include the 'true' requestor in the form - being able to assign that requestor in the ticket would be helpful. Not critical in that case but could be quite helpful here and in other situations
