GET Attachment API syntax

Question

I'm trying to retrieve attachments from ServiceDesk (xxxxxxx.samanage.com) using Rest API. There is no syntax given for this in the API documentation :-(

Can some one from SolarWinds tech team post the answer please?

I have the authentication working, I can get data from incidents and I'm trying to get the attachments that are connected to the incident.

Error executing REST request: Invalid uri 'api.samanage.com/attachments.json Invalid queryHTTPStatus = 0

Answering this as I was stuck on this as well and this is one of the first links to pop up

The incidents.json has a query parameter called "layout", if included the json is expanded with the attachments property containing an array of attachments for the incident, each attachment element provides an aws url that you can use to download the attachments.

Example: https:// api . samanage . com / incidents.json ? layout=long
