Embedding pictures into FAQs

Hi Everyone,

When I attempt to embed pictures into Help Desk FAQs I only see black crosses (as pictured below).

I believe that the reason why embedded pictures are not showing is because the file host that I am using (Office 365 > OneNote) only supports secure http (https)!

There are http file hosts available, such as ImGur, but I am in a corporate environment and I would like to avoid using free online sharing services.

I think that there are two possibilities for fixing my issue -

1). Spin up a VM and run a local website to host pictures, or

2). Hope that there is a plugin for Web Help Desk that will fix this issue!

Can anybody offer suggestions on the above, or on any additional alternatives that I have not though of?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

What version are you on? With 12.7.1, which is in RC and should be in your customer portal, this should be much easier to create and insert images into FAQ's.

I am currently using version 12.6.

Not sure if this will work for you but I just use Snip to get what I want to post, then move it to word to resize and then copy and paste onto the FAQ page. Probably better ways to do all that. I too have issues when trying to embed a pic from a url.
