Good Stuff for a New Year...
This year is going to be a good year. I have also found the best possible use for AI, and that is to recreated a couple of classic BBC Radio Comedies
Just a minute
I am sorry I haven't a Clue.
Both were unsurpassable in the 70's & 80'sbut unfortunately many of the regular guests grew old and died and the younger ones that replaced them have just not quite captured the ambience of the originals. Using AI we could re-create the voices of the core regulars, get the timing correct and then have 1 physical new guest to play alongside the AI replica's. I miss Humphrey Littleton as chair of I'm sorry I haven't a clue, he was a jazz musician and his timing was without peer. I recommend you look some of the older episodes up on BBC sounds or YouTube, avoid the failed TV version of Just A Minute, it did not work, these shows were for radio only.
Happy laughs for 2025
