Do not deploy this hotfix if changing the request type is part of your work flow. It will not save the change and will kill your session much like the previous scheduling issue (and any other issue that is captured as an unhandled exception in the logs).
Apparently there is a new assumed requirement that Assigned Tech cannot be blank in this hotfix. This is being tracked with Support and hopefully gets some quick traction from development.
