We have recently added the ability to limit the view of Audits in both the area located under Reports/Audit and also the Audit tab in each section of the application - by adding the relevant restriction to a Role.
How to Limit Audit View to Reports/ In Context Tab
Go to Setup/Users & Access/Roles and click the “add restriction” button next to the existing audit restriction or permission you have in place today.
In the popup window (Figure 1), click the “Add +” button and select “Reports” to restrict this role from viewing audit information available in the Report section.

Choose “In Context Tab” to limit this role's access from viewing the audit information available under the Audit tab throughout the rest of the application.
