How it works now
Currently you can set the minimum number of approvals required for a change control to be approved, but you cannot set the number of denials required for a change control to be denied. Right now, in order for a change control to be denied, you need a majority of the CAB to deny it.
Proposed changes
I propose that you just add an option to allow us to set the number of denials required to deny a change so that we can customize it to our own business needs.
Business Case
The purpose of Change Control is to mitigate risk. If we have a change control waiting approval and one person denies it for whatever reason, why waste the other CAB members' time to review it? It should be denied at that point, or even sent back to the ticket creator to modify and resubmit. I'd like to change this so that if ONE person denies it, the change is denied. It's a time savings measure.
