Since our implementation, we have really tried to embrace the Service Catalog. It's a great way to stream line processes and collect all the information you need for a request. The one short coming we had was naming the incidents it created. It can be difficult to find the one incident you are working on if you don't remember the number and try to do it by incident title. If you are not using the Custom Titles all the Titles are the Item Name: New Hire, Computer Equipment Request or Application Request. We started to use the Custom Title field but ran into some glaring issues. While I can use variables for the custom fields used in the Catalog Item, I can't seem to use Global variables like {{requester_full_name}}, any of the basic components that already exist when you start filling out the form. Short of having the user fill out the information again, has anyone else found a work around for this?
