Currently SolarWinds obtains time and time zone from the server hosting it. We run a global operation with devices in 15+ time zones, so we set all devices to UTC. The SolarWinds server is also set to UTC. While this displays the time at the top of the dashboard correctly in UTC as well as events, and alerts, other times (interface charts, hardware, syslogs) are shown in the time zone local to the machine I'm viewing the page on. This makes it difficult to correlate these things and develop a consistent picture for troubleshooting or effective monitoring.
Feature Request:
1. Allow the configuration of a global default time zone setting that spans across all functions, charts, events, alerts, displays, and logs within SolarWinds.
2. Enable time zone settings on a per node basis that differ from the global default time zone for those that want to use specific settings per node.
3. Display the specific node time zone in the Node Details widget.
4. For lists that display information from multiple nodes, all times should be standardized to the global default time zone.
5. Display the current system (default global time zone) time in the header of ALL SolarWinds pages. Currently this is done in Summary Pages and some others, but not all.
