We use samanage which is now part of solarwinds. Specifically I mainly use the Incident Management features which is what I have a request for.
I often find that when I take a ticket, someone else has already claimed it. Or, the reverse happens and I grab a ticket, but someone else takes it. Then of course person #2 works on the problem, only to later find out the problem is being worked on by someone else etc. and time is wasted.
What I would like to see is a warning pop-up in the app or website when that happens, so the 2nd person claiming a ticket sees a message that effectively tells them ‘Person XYZ is already assigned this incident – do you want to proceed?’ so they know someone else claimed it already.
