Dear Sir, We are experiencing a discrepancy in interface status monitoring, where interfaces are showing an issue in SolarWinds, despite all services (ping, browsing, etc.) functioning normally. We have already engaged our hardware vendor (Sophos) to investigate potential hardware issues. After thorough analysis, Sophos…
Is there a list of allowed file extensions for Solarwinds. I need it for Stig requirements Thanks
Hi Trying to create a Dashboard for whole infrastructure certificate expiry check. But stuck somewhere and we need to create an alert if expiry is near. Like Cisco, WIndows Server, IIS, Palo Alto, SD-WAN and etc.
When the interfaces of the devices I monitor with snmp are shutdown, an alarm is sent. Our customer asked us to include the user information that shut down the interface in this alarm mail. How is this possible in Solarwinds? We want to receive alarms from SNMP, not from traps and syslog, because we find it more dynamic…

We currently poll our Extreme APs via SNMP. Will we duplicate those if we start using the API? We have about 1700, so I'd rather that not happen. We use also NPM to capture the EOL info for them. Is there any benefit to switching to the API? Will we lose any functionality? TIA!!
Requirement is to send a trap notification if any device added via SNMP is not responding to SNMP requests. This is important as the lack of response could impact performance metrics, interface, or port monitoring. I attempted to use conditions such as "Node child status" being unknown or "Overall Hardware Status (Node)"…
