Hi Recently I was exploring UDT features on Solarwinds demo website. I was thinking that it will be great to also have a feature in UDT where we can also get inventory of connected SFP modules in network devices with there operational status. This feature will be of great help into identifying SFP modules which are…
It would be great if we can setup the account with separate permission under Manage Accounts >UDT settings. One of the best example is to gave a specific user an ability to Manage whitelisting without event without Admin rights.
Hi There, In reference to Case # 00032104 that I logged with your helpdesk, I would like to request a UDT search widget to be created so that I can go directly to the search window stright from my dashboard instead of navigating to the UDT section first.
We have Palo-Alto firewalls. The firewalls are our layer 3 device at each one of our sites. We purchased the UDT module, but this is not compatible with Palo-alto firewalls.
Fix where "Last Seen" is exported correctly in Excel in UDT Ad Hoc reporting I opened two cases on this and the last one was ended as saying it was not going to be fixed because Ad Hoc reporting was considered "deprecated" We have numerous Departments around campus that need to do IP reconciliations, and because we can't…
It would be best to have this report merged in 1 for audit purposes.
- Currently, Logins are captured via Domain Controllers using specific set of EventIDs. - would it be possible, if we can gather the logs directly from the Linux Machines as all movement on the Linux machines is recorded on Logs. - This means we would have to monitor Linux machines individually

UDT can not read the ARP tables from the ASA. So if the ASA is the Layer 3 gateway there is no way to read the ARP entry for any device on that LAN. This makes UDT useless for finding devices behind a firewall.
I'd moved all of my network equipment to using snmp-v3, and it worked well. After purchasing and installing UDT, I found it would not discover devices attached to switch ports when snmp-v3 was used to manage/monitor the switch. This is because the v3 information is encrypted, and there's no place in UDT to decrypt that…
