Bug Reporting
I have recently updated to Kiwi Syslog NG 1.2.1.4 and have found a couple bugs. I opened a Support Ticket for the first one, as it was directly affecting what I was working on. The second I just discovered, but have a workaround. Is there an official way to report bugs? Or is opening a Support Ticket the official way? Eric
NG 1.2 Installation without Internet
I read the release notes for 1.2 and it clearly states that it has fixed "KSS NG can now be installed on machines without internet access." Errorlog
I am attempting to set up email notifications for Kiwi Syslog. They have failed due to port closure - in the meantime, how can I stop the errorlog notification from continuing? I already turned off the rule but the error button continues to light up. Any suggestion?
"Write to file" logs use UTC
Hi, Noticed that while the dashboard applies the timezone used on the OS to events, the log files created with a "write to file" rule have UTC timestamps. Is this configurable somewhere? We would like everything in local time simalar to Kiwi Legacy. Thanks.
Problem with utf8 in Kiwi Syslog Server in combination with kiwi Syslog Forwarder
All logs are not diplayed as UTF8, the German umlauts are not displayed. In the regestry of the Server I set it to utf8, i think it is a problem withe the forwarder. Has someone a solution for me ? Registry in Server is set:
