I'm having trouble with the message content variable $Message.MsgHost in a rule action for send an email. I'm expecting it to return the host IP address of the message, but I'm getting a random number instead.
Have you tried using DNS resolution to see if the FQDN is shown?
It almost acts like it is converting it to a decimal representation of an IP address (but the number is too small - 35764 = 0.0.139.180).
I use $Message.MsgHost for emails, but I have DNS resolution turned on and it enters the FQDN of the system.

Thank you for the response. I only wish either Solarwinds or someone who have suggested that before I reverted back to KSS Legacy version. Solarwinds tech support answer was that it was a bug that might be fixed in a future version, but there's no way of telling when that will be.
