Ok, can you let me know the case number so I can cross reference it with the one I opened? Thanks again JB

I'm seeing the same problem NPM 9.51 and APM 3.1 Can anyone confirm this was fixed in 3.1??? JB

You sir are a genius! I created a custom map for one page and replace it at the correct scale and now it is rock solid. If you have one map on a lot of pages (we do) this isn’t a great workaround because you’d have to maintain multiple maps. Looks like a BUG to me. I’ll open a case. Thanks JB

Yes they are, I'm going to test your hypothesis. Stand By....... JB

I don't hate it but the load speed is annoying, also displaying the results needs improvement. First is the non tabular sorting of pollers, we spent time grouping common pollers together in 8.51 and now in 9.0 they're alphabitized. (see screenshot) Second, Tabular poller counts are included on the Universial Device Poller…

You are right on the money, We saw the same gaps in charts, I opened a ticket "Case # 25033 Created: I have gaps in most all of my charts!" In November 07. Worked on it for two weeks, with tech support - got nowhere. Closed Case, shut down Netflow - problem better (not fixed) and ordered a new Orion server (Problem…

OK, here is a screen shot (with path) of the resource with the missing GIF. It should be a small Unmanaged Icon with a flashing gray box in the lower right hand corner. JB

It's a Tabular Universial Device Poller JB
-
Yes, That is correct. ATSs have two inputs, to monitor them you need to use a Tabular Universal Device Poller resource. JB

Yes, to set/unset basline configs from the website, also exclude baselines from config purges. JB

No, I don't see the performance counters in WMI Explorer. OK now I'm confused, mind you I'm no WMI guru so how can the counters be there in perfmon and not in wmi explorer? JB

Is there any status on this? Being able to select MIN/Max and/or Average on Charts would be a nice feature. I can't tell how many times I've had to explain the graphs. There also seems to be "inconsistencies" in graphing For instance the attached graph is Min/Max Average Polling takes place every 4 minutes graph sample…

I am also getting WMI timeouts with APM 1.0 SP3 JB

I understand the limitations with the old SM but how about a new SM without all the old leftovers from the toolset NPM? Something that would give administrators capabilities manage nodes/interfaces/volumes and pull together some of the other utilities like poller tuning, custom properties, database manager, service manager…

I think it's your trigger... You are alerting on Node Status is not equal to UP, so the alert will be sent on anything not equal to up. Before a node goes Down, it enters a Warning status, that's what the alert triggered on and once it triggered it won't trigger again until after it resets. You could have two alerts one…

Have you turned off authentication traps in SNMP?
