So are all the interfaces that go unknown this type? I can say that I've occasionally had some strange problems getting virtual interfaces to show up on some boxes. I have a couple of virtual servers that I can do a "List Resources" on and see the interfaces, but when polling them, they never come out of "Unknown" status.…

Has this issue been resolved? We found the same problem in at least 9.x. I'm afraid to re-enable the DirectLink account because I don't want all my customers seeing every interface on our network.

I can't stress enough how annoying this is. My operations team and I have spent a good chunk of man-hours just trying to figure out a way around it. Not to mention the lost productivity in my support staff because they can no longer simply click on a link from our ticketing system.

Just trying to understand - Are you trying to select only the interfaces or the node AND all of its interfaces? I am trying to just select the interfaces. I know you can change the "Group By" parameters and then tell the console to just show interfaces, but that's a roundabout way of doing it.
