  • Btw, I have the latest patches and just got the eval from sales yesterday so I know that's current also. I just restarted the Orion server for the thrill of it to see if that helps.
  • Using the app monitor I can get the app memory stats but no CPU stats for that app or any app for that matter. In the App Monitor manager I made sure I had the options selected to collect both the cpu and memory usage. Been running the App eval for 24 hours now and no CPU usage collected for any apps.
  • Did the services start? That's my issue at the moment. My syslog, trap, and alerting engine won't start...gives sql login error.
  • 20 times by now...even booted the server and manually started the services. Web view works great...but no gui interface comes up whatsoever, even through a rdp connection.

  • Brad, that is the same issue I have...I had to follow the same steps as you to get the netflow packets and to remedy the warnings in Orion.
  • I get this too on Cisco routers that I only want netflow from on the serial interfaces. I don't want netflow packets from the ethernet interface. I also get this on a device that has an interface that's disabled, like my Packeteer appliances. I guess there is no way to 'unmanage' just an interface even though it's…
  • Same issue here...I posted a while back and no resolution.
  • I run Orion and Cirrus on one VM and PRTG on the other, both on the same box. Using a quad cpu Proliant ML570 with 6GB ram and the main box has SQL on it as well. I haven't seen any issues yet with performance.
  • I tried the steps above with no luck. I'm using a sql 2005 db and keep getting the "SolarwindsNPM can't login to SQL" whenever I try to start the trap, syslog, netflow services. All other services start fine and Orion functions normally.
  • Anyone found an answer to this? I'm getting traps, which is great, but reading and deciphering them is another issue. Too bad I couldn't categorize or rename traps to something legible.
  • Magman, were you able to divide your result by 100? I have some AVtech's I want to poll also but I have a four digit temp instead of a 2 digit.
