Has anything like this ever happened? Specifically, "We would also like for the ability to somehow check/uncheck the monitoring and/or alerting on certain tasks so that we may be able to work on one of them without having to suppress alerting for the entire set."?
-
Around the time(s) they are unknown, these are all I see...they have the ip of my SolarWinds server as source. Where do I need to check/set login info for this?
-
I have not, no. Will look into that right now. What could be wrong w/ WMI, and how could I try and fix that?
-
Thank Yann. Looks like I found the issue. The OS we currently are running on the router supports the card but not the MIB. So we have to upgrade the OS on every router, then we should be good to go. Thanks, Dave

WHERE Interfaces.comments = "whatever" Didn't work... I used: WHERE Interfaces.comments = 'whatever' ...and that worked perfect. Thank You, for your help! Dave

and now 8:59...some up, some unknown.

8:41am 8:44am Different errors reporting in the info windows: ...and I went and looked at event viewer on remote VM, and getting invalid login/password via Kerberos Any idea whats happening? Server 2003 if needed.
-
That fixed it. Thanks for your help.

Whew!...MIB walked the node, and am at a loss. Not sure what I'm looking at/for. Anyone have an idea/ballpark what MIB name/info to look out for? Under wireless, I see access point, client type info. But this is completely different from that. This is a cellular card talking to a cell tower, backing up out T1 circuit…

WHERE Interfaces.Caption LIKE "%whatever%" I've tried a couple different variations. Like without the %'s, and with ' instead of " I went into the Add Custom Properties, then added comments, then in the comments field for the interfaces I want to filter into this report, I added the comment "whatever".
-
But it's not 802.11...I have 1 router in every state, with a circuit to each. These cards are cellular in each router to back-up the circuit in the event it drops. The MIB I used before must have been the one you spoke of, as all I could see then was my local wireless host controllers. Thanks, Dave

Yes, tried searching by name, looked in unknown node, nothing.
-
Weird...I attempted that, except I used AND...I assumed that's how that string would have went. What do you think about the comment field? I tried that a couple different way and still no luck. Thanks, Dave

I'm running 9.5 SP1. I can see traps in the Trap Viewer.
-
Is there a way to use google maps in this manner instead of google earth? Your way with google earth works great BTW!
-
I believe it's seperate...I'll check and get back...Sorry, I'm a noob..
-
I did. After I click 'Ok, add node', it doesn't show anywhere.
-
I tried that string, and it didn't work. In your first reply, you gave a string for a single 'Node-Name', Is there a way if I have two 'Node-Names'? Thanks a ton for helping me!
-
Anyone? Help please. Thanks, Dave

Brandon, after I upgraded, I finally tried a remove and re-add the node. The issue went away. Thanks.
-
I added a comment to only the interfaces I want to be in this report. Let's say it's "whatever". So it should look like this: WHERE Interfaces.Caption LIKE "%whatever%"? Sorry to be such a pain...
-
That solved the issue...thanks.
-
Ok...Verified traps are being sent to Orion. They even show in the Traps Summary view set-up on the NPM webpage. But when I click the Traps tab at the top, it shows nothing. Where else should I look? Thanks, Dave
-
This looks like just what I need...Thank You!
-
Didn't think of that. Will make do with the report you attached earlier. Thanks!
-
Yes... This may need to be moved to Report Lab or elsewhere possibly, to get proper exposure.
-
Yes...I think it would need to alert if the value is X% above the last value.
-
v9.5 We did try...may have the incorrect MIB. Have to do more looking. Thanks! Dave

Here is what I see I added Google.com, but my site looks the same in every aspect, except the address of course. :
-
...Or a way to filter if I added a comment field?
