Allowing tags for groups in the use case of tag a Group (or add to description) a keyword like 'Outlook' - Then if a user is searching through groups to assign a ticket, if they type the keyword/tag then it would show 'Application Support' group or whatever group is associated with that tag/description.
From what I have deduced (of course there's no documentation) the following are the "Asset Reservation" tags that can be used in emails sent in regard to reservations: * <first_name> * <last_name> * <login_id> * <login_url> * <helpdesk_contact_info> * <helpdesk_name> * <due_date> * <asset_list> Only those "tags"…
What might be a strange or perhaps obvious question... I have rules set on several event IDs labeled with a tag called "EventSecurityAudit". A request came in to provide a report or other output showing the event IDs with the EventSecurityAudit tag. Poking around I can't figure out how to do that. I welcome any inputs from…
It would be extremely helpful if we could use the Email Templaet and Canned Response <tags> such as <client>, <first_name>, etc. Especially combined with Action Rules and Tasks. Currently most users have to create a Custom Property to act as a Group for managing all the nodes in an Orion Group instead of using the built in Groups function. Would be good to see enhanced functions like: - Alert Management - Mute / UnMute / Unmanage Group -…
Hi All, I am new to Solarwinds. I would like to monitor a vSphere environment. I have added the vCenter to Solarwinds, and it scans and bombards me with things that are either good or bad, everything fine... But now i want to exclude certain vm's from an alert for example i want to exclude them from the "VMs with Large…
Would be great to add custom tags to Rules.
We have custom tags in solarwinds. We have almost the same custom tags in vcenter. It's necessary for us to have them in both locations. It's a PITA to have to update them in both locations since the two systems are obviously connected in solarwinds. And I have neither the skill nor time to write something to use both APIs…
I am needing to create a custom report, I can use the Pingdom API check to get a list of all the sites, but the check does not include tags that I have assigned. Does anyone know how I can get a listing for export that uses tags as a filter? Thanks
