Enhance SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted with API logging and access control to track, audit, and manage API interactions efficiently while restricting access based on users/groups. Currently, SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted does not offer a built-in API logging feature to track API requests, responses, and…
One of the issues I've faced since adopting Solarwinds is the lack of ability to generate concise alert messages from logs. There does not seem to be a way to ingest logs, format or extract specific information, and pass that through to an alert for easy viewing. I can pass the log to an alert via…
We have a quite busy environment (~1000 users handling 250'000+ transfers per day) and when a customer has issues we tend to switch on logging to file for that customer and then tick all boxes for SFTP commands and replies for example. However, trawling through these logs are a bit messy, we've developed an application to…

We are getting inundated with syslog messages when setting them to informational (which causes issues), so have started changing to warnings or alert, but this seems to…
In the sam-applciation monitor-template-debug logging is there a variable that can be passed to used within the powershell script so I can add additional output when debug is enabled?
Currently, nested JSON in logging doesn't get deserialized, so characters are escaped. Unfortunately, the nested JSON then needs to be treated as a big text field when writing queries to filter the log data. Deserializing this data would allow you to chain the JSON path to more accurately identify the data.
