Real-Time Change detection - logging level

Hi all,

Just a quick question. Does the RT config changes only work on Informational and higher? and is there anyway to get it working on say 'warnings'. We are getting inundated with syslog messages when setting them to informational (which causes issues), so have started changing to warnings or alert, but this seems to break the RT changes.

This is super annoying and it's kinda on the device's or standard's end. I suppose you could put a middleware service inbetween to only forward the "change" logs from within the informational level, but even then you need to be careful to maintain the source as the original device.

Hard problem, experiencing it myself.

Ah ok, good to know it's not just me. I'll have to look at potentially adding something in between, or I guess we will just have to prioritise the 'Real-time' devices rather than all of them; only leaving them on informational, so it doesn't kill our box! Thanks for your reply.

It's possible to do a less-than-realtime-detection based around the backup windows. I've got one that works but i've never been convinced it works super well either
